St. Helens Council approached us as they wanted to showcase what they had done for the community with sports, to demonstrate where their budget had been spent.

We had worked with St. Helens council a few times, some videos showcasing facilities they provide, a litter campaign, health campaign etc so it was nice to be asked again to get involved with them. For this project they wanted to record their end of year sports day which encompassed what they had achieved over the year with their budget.

We filmed as a team of 3 people, plus we hired in a drone operator from another company. St. Helens council have always been very good with communication and we had an itinerary of the day which helped us to allocate our resources to make sure we captured everything which included multiple interviews and footage of all the different sports of the day.

The edit was quite a quick turnaround because although the shoot required multiple staff, it was because events where happening at the same time. We turned around an edit within a week and asked for any changes to be sent over before finalising the edit.
